NORTHERN RAMP COMPANY LTD was established by Dean Dieleman in 2019. Dean was inspired by a surfing and camping trip to Hawaii and decided to create the mellow vibes of surfing in Canada by building a mini ramp in his backyard. After selling a couple, he launched it into a business. Year after year, the ramps got new designs and materials until the design had been perfected.

Northern Ramp Mini Ramp Kits are built with exterior grade high-quality plywood, galvanized coped, weatherproof screws to withstand the elements.

How to build your ramp

Get your kit

Your Ramp Kit comes with all the parts, screws and instructions. If you've ever built an IKEA shelf, you'll be good.
Prepare the ground

Choose an area that is flat. Most backyards have a slope of about 1% meaning that over 20ft your backyard will slope 3 inches. Consider purchasing our levelling kit, which contains gravel and cement blocks.
Spread out the kit

Lay down all the parts of the kit to ensure it fits the space and to get the kids excited!
Follow the instructions

Your kit comes with an instructions sheet. Best to follow it, or you won't hear the end of it from your wife.
Start putting the screws

Kits come with pre-drilled holes. Make sure each screw goes in and doesn't stick out.
Add the plywood

Once you've built the structure, add the plywood. Again, make sure the screws don't stick out.
Take a ride

You've earned it!
